A daily ritual of best practices lays the foundation
for the excitement and satisfaction of reaching your personal goals.
When my daily best practices are completed, my mind, spirit, and body have gotten on track. Over time, best practices becomes second nature. I am prepared not only to take on the expected, but am better able to roll with the unexpected.
Your own best practices are INTENTIONAL, and set you FREE to explore and develop your life in the things that matter most to you. Here are my daily practices. Let them inspire you to develop your own.
The Night Before:
Get off all electronics at least one hour before bedtime. I'm still working on this one!
Review the schedule for the next day and confirm my own workout time.
Prepare the coffeemaker and set out the mugs.
Prepare a water bottle and place in refrigerator.
Turn the lights down in the bedroom.
Lay out work clothes for the next day.
Place files of client plans, backpack of fitness equipment, and my workout clothes by the front door.
Brush teeth, wash face, put on PJ's, turn down the bed covers.
Set the alarm.
Start the diffuser with lavender oil.
Say prayers and turn out the lights.
The Next Morning:
Get up as soon as alarm sounds.
Start the coffeemaker.
Stretch and move while waiting on the coffee to brew.
Take coffee into bedroom and have some devotional time.
Spend a few minutes with my husband while he wakes and has his coffee.
Review our schedules for the day.
Prepare and eat breakfast.
Make the bed.
Shower and dress.
Get my water from fridge, grab the stuff by the door, and leave for clients' homes.
